About
Anisha Mitra is a neuropsychologist, working as a counsellor under supervision, with adults predominantly dealing with anxiety and related concerns. Also, concerns regarding mood, emotions, focusing, and daily functioning, and life-adjustment support are also addressed.
I am an Msc Neuropsychology graduate who has completed 500+ hours of fieldwork and clinical exposure with intensive skill in neuropsychological and psychological assessment administration and interpretation and has worked in clinical settings under the guidance of Aman Choundhary, a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Director of Good Judgment. Sessions are entirely online, private and confidential, subject to the standard professional and legal limits of confidentiality.
The work is collaborative, and shaped around your individual needs. Counselling is available to adults aged 18 and above. The process is designed to support meaningful change,
Clinical supervision
Counselling is provided under Good Judgement, a clinician-led mental health organisation run by a Clinical Psychologist. Case discussions, professional decisions and any need for referral or escalation happen with supervisory oversight.
Anisha does not currently hold an independent clinical licence. Services are therefore delivered within a supervised professional framework.

Having dealt with social anxiety myself and helping myself and others manage it better, I bring both professional and personal insight into how overwhelming feeling stuck in anticipation is, where your mind and body are in a constant state of preparation for something that might happen, even when the threat isn’t immediate or clear, and what can realistically help make it more manageable.
The focus is on understanding what is maintaining anxiety and whether it shows up as constant worry, avoidance, restlessness, or physiological symptoms.
Overthinking and persistent worry
Thoughts can become repetitive and difficult to disengage from, even when you know they are not helping.
Avoidance of situations, decisions, or conversations
Anxiety can lead to putting things off or staying away from situations, decisions or conversations that feel uncomfortable or uncertain.
Difficulty relaxing
Even during downtime, the mind may stay active, alert, or preoccupied.
Physiological Symptoms
Symptoms such as a racing heart, shortness of breath, muscle tension, dizziness, stomach discomfort, or development of physical/mental comorbidity due to prolonged exposure to high cortisol.
Mood & emotions
Focus & daily functioning
Life, work & health
Counselling is structured, collaborative, and tailored to the individual. Where relevant, psychological assessments may be used to better understand specific areas of functioning, identify patterns, and help shape the direction of future sessions.
Understand
We begin by mapping what you are dealing with, using psychoeducation so the difficulty makes sense.
Work with it
Sessions may draw on a blended use of existential therapy and CBT-informed techniques, behavioural strategies, emotion-regulation techniques, and mindfulness and grounding practices (MBCT).
Build skills
Problem-solving, coping-skills training and executive-function strategies, chosen according to your needs.
